Empower your heart, embrace your growth.
Grief Therapy
Grief is a deeply personal journey, helping individuals and families in grief find peace and healing after loss. Grief can be experienced from various forms of loss. Empowering Hearts Therapy holds space and supports individuals through various forms of grief including changes in hopes for oneself, unexpected health experiences, divorce, end of life, and death of a loved one.
“The reality is that you will grieve forever. You will not ‘get over’ the loss of a loved one; you will learn to live with it. You will heal and you will rebuild yourself around the loss you have suffered. You will be whole again but you will never be the same. Nor should you be the same nor would you want to.”
― Elizabeth Kubler-Ross
Individual Therapy
Meet with me for a 53 minute session. We work one-on-one to tackle anxiety, depression, trauma, and everything in between using approaches that empower you to reach your goals. Therapy isn’t just about coping, it is about empowering you and supporting your heart through every chapter.
Couples Therapy
Relationships can be messy, having a neutral party to guide and empower connection is valuable. These sessions aren’t about blame, they’re about rebuilding trust, repairing connection, and creating stronger, healthier relationships that last.
Supervision
I believe supervision is a vital part of the journey of becoming a therapist. Some folks want to just get it done as soon as possible (that's fine!) and others take some time and use multiple supervisors to gain multiple perspectives. I took 5 years to get licensed and was able to gain multiple perspectives on how individuals practice (in home, outpatient and private practice supervisors)!
My supervision style is very relational and conversational. I'm a straight-forward person , and do not like to sugar coat. Clear is kind in my books! Ask questions and stay curious! I really enjoy group supervisions as it gives individuals the opportunity to learn from others! .
My areas and interest are grief and loss, aging, death and dying, anxiety, OCD, SPMI, Parenting, Attachment base theories and Adlerian.
